Wirral Pro Help
Paul Cochrane has been appointed Chairman of Wirral Pro Help, an organisation that provides free professional support for the voluntary sector.
Through Wirral Pro Help, local professional firms including solicitors, accountants and architects give their expertise to community projects in the local area. On a national basis over £3.5 million worth of professional time is set aside by firms to help local community organisations.

Time limits to remember
The Inland Revenue should be notified of a new trade (self-employment or partnership) by the completion of form CWF1 no later than three months after the commencement date. Notification after this date will give rise to a £100 penalty.
Corporation tax should be paid no later than nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period in question.
Quarterly CT61 returns are to be submitted by 31st March, 30th June, 30th September and 31st December. Payment of the income tax arising should be made within 14 days after the end of the period shown on the return. i.e. 14 April, 14 July etc.
Company tax returns should be submitted no later than 12 months after the end of the accounting period in question.
